Yet I wondered how our educational system stifles this fundamental energy of who we are in a effort to make everything alike... to standardize existence. Somehow our capacity to measure has dominated our awareness of discovery by asserting that all reality is measurable.
I know there is a risk in attempting to examine "Creative Process"... The act of watching, of examining creative process changes it since physics has demonstrated that the presence of the observer changes the nature of the observed.
And the more I have thought about this and reflected on what we might discover, the less I like the term "creative process"... this rhetoric turns process into an object. It becomes fossilized, a museum-like skeleton of the dynamic energy of being in the moment...
So in the end we may understand creating only when we are actually creating. When we reflect back on the moment, maybe there is something we might discover.
